.Wolfgang H. Grimm, 79, of Prince George, Virginia, died peacefully on September 12, 2017, at Bon Secours Community Hospice House in Richmond, due to complications from a stroke he suffered on February 16, 2017.

Born April 7, 1938, in Berlin, Germany, he was the son of the late Hermann Gustav Wilhelm Grimm and Lieselotte Konstanze Maria Struckfuss Grimm. In 1969, he emigrated to the United States and lived in Louisville, Kentucky for 6 years before moving to Virginia in 1975 to work for Hauni Richmond. .Wolfgang H. Grimm, 79, of Prince George, Virginia, died peacefully on September 12, 2017, at Bon Secours Community Hospice House in Richmond, due to complications from a stroke he suffered on February 16, 2017.

Born April 7, 1938, in Berlin, Germany, he was the son of the late Hermann Gustav Wilhelm Grimm and Lieselotte Konstanze Maria Struckfuss Grimm. In 1969, he emigrated to the United States and lived in Louisville, Kentucky for 6 years before moving to Virginia in 1975 to work for Hauni Richmond. Wolfgang married his soul mate, Ursula, in 1981, retired from Hauni as Manager of Technical Services in 2002 and became a proud American citizen in 2004.

Wolfgang was a lover of the arts and known for entertaining. He was a member of the Schnapps Brenner band and the Spektakel Quartett and proudly shared his German heritage by actively participating in the coordination of many local Oktoberfest and Karneval events. He enjoyed volunteering and was active in many civic and fraternal organizations in Richmond and Hopewell, including the Deutscher Sports Club, the Historic Hopewell Foundation and the Hopewell Twinning Association.

In addition to his wife of 35 years, Wolfgang was preceded in death by his parents and son Gunnar Grimm. He is survived by a large family in Germany, including son, Olav Grimm; daughter, Margret Klayziewski (Heiko); grandchildren Zeniade, Kenneth, Filip, Elina, Tim and Tobias; a sister, Annela Schneider (Joachim) and brothers Wilfried Grimm (Gudrun), Manfred Grimm (Ellen), and Michael Grimm (Kristiane); In America, he leaves behind a step-son Charles H. Pannunzio (Christina) of Torrance, California; a step-daughter, Lisa M. Gaylor and grandchildren Danielle, Ronnie and Stephen, of Midlothian, Virginia.

Visitation followed by a joint memorial service to celebrate the lives of both Wolfgang and Ursula will be held on Saturday, October 7, at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA 23113 beginning at 2PM.
